Can I help you make it a great summer?

May 2024

It's crazy that 2024 is over 40% over already! This year is flying by! Whether you're new to this list or you've been here for a long time, this is an email I look forward to sending each month.

The final email I send each month includes a few of my favorite things that I think you'll enjoy. I hope these items or experiences, which I've enjoyed, encourage and equip you in your pursuit of spiritual growth, emotional health, and stronger relationships.

5 Things I've Enjoyed in May:

Need Help with Your Summer Plans?

A wise man once said, "'Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." In my newest plan on the Bible app, I share the power of naming and embracing your current season in life. After finishing this 5-day reading plan, you'll have all the ingredients to make this an unforgettable summer.

Best book on healing through grief

Grief is something few people talk about publicly. As a result, many of us suffer silently in isolation as we try to heal from what happened to us. Thankfully, my friend, Steve Carter, is helping to change this. Steve shares about the betrayal he experienced within his career and family. His new book, Grieve Breathe Receive, is powerful and will aid you in healing!

Help your kids grow this summer!

Many parents I meet in my work as a pastor feel like they are failing and falling short. My friend, Jen Weaver, has a great new resource to serve parents this summer. Her Kid's Bible Activities Summer Bundle is full of simple, fun resources to help you (or a friend) create meaningful opportunities to play, make messes, and explore faith this summer!

A fascinating conversation

I've been on a bunch of podcasts over the past several months and my newest interview stood out! The host, Sue Donaldson, asked great questions, and our chat had me reflecting for a long time. If you've been feeling burned out, frustrated by your friendships, or struggling in your relationship with God, you need to listen to this episode!

My favorite cup!

Last month, I left my favorite water cup at an event and it was lost. So, what did I do? I went out and bought a brand-new one. Hydroflask discontinued my favorite color, but life goes on! This cup fits in nearly every cupholder I've tried. Plus, adding the straw lid makes it super easy to drink from without spilling!

I hope you find encouragement and help from these five items! I look forward to sharing with you in June as part of a new email series. If you've been hurt in a relationship and you find it hard to forgive someone or even yourself, help is on the way! Talk soon.

Thanks for reading!
